Where the model work goes when it is not constrained by what a field unit can draw.
Not everything belongs on an edge box. Larger segmentation and validation models remain useful as lab and server-side tools — for building training sets, validating field detections and analysing imagery at a scale the field hardware is not meant to handle.
Person detection already ships as part of Deerkha Drishti, so some of what follows is nearer than it looks. But wildlife protection is the only field where we have live deployments and results to show. Everything on this page is a direction we are equipped to take, not a track record — and we would rather say so.
Where it applies
- Dataset construction
- Turning field detections into labelled training data, which is how the pilot improved the model.
- Server-side validation
- Heavier models used to audit edge decisions and measure false-trigger rates.
- Imagery analysis
- Land-use and change detection over aerial and satellite imagery.
